ABOUT AYDA

Ayda’s work explores the alchemy of colour and form, a dialogue between geometry, vibration, and light. Each piece unfolds as a meditation on harmony: pigment becomes frequency, structure becomes resonance. Through layered transparencies, textured reliefs, and the inclusion of semi-precious stones, she unites colour, nature, and mineral in a single field of expression. Ayda’s practice bridges art and science, drawing on the geometry of nature and the symbolic language of number. Her compositions merge scientific precision with poetic intuition, forming luminous cartographies of energy and equilibrium. Her canvases act as mirrors of balance, spaces where intuition meets proportion, and beauty becomes a quiet form of intelligence. Through her exploration of number, proportion, and chromatic resonance, her paintings do not simply depict harmony; they embody it, becoming visual meditations on coherence and transformation.

“I approach art as an act of alchemy, a quiet transmutation of colour, light, and geometry into states of harmony. My process begins with stillness: listening to how form breathes, how pigment vibrates, how proportion evokes memory. Each work is an attempt to translate unseen harmonics into visible balance, to let structure reveal its hidden music. I often embed semi-precious stones within the surface, their crystalline textures acting as conduits between light and matter, spirit and mineral. Through this layering, the work becomes both tactile and transcendent — a meeting place where geometry, colour, and the raw substance of the earth cohere into a living equilibrium.”

I approach my work as an exploration of balance; between geometry and intuition, material and emotion, the visible and the unseen. My practice integrates painting with subtle sculptural elements, creating layered surfaces that hold both texture and depth. Through colour, form, and structure, I seek to evoke a sense of stillness and quiet movement; a rhythm that resonates beyond the visual.

I’m fascinated by how colour and form influence energy, how they can transform the atmosphere of a space or the inner state of the viewer. My background in colour therapy and Aura-Soma informs the way I approach painting as vibration, where each hue, proportion, and geometric relationship carries a frequency that invites coherence and calm.

Sacred geometry often guides my compositions, not as strict symbolism, but as an underlying language of harmony and interconnectedness. Semi-precious stones such as amethyst, pearls, Tridacna and quartz are embedded within the surface, refracting light and introducing a natural resonance that bridges the physical and the ethereal.

My process is deliberate yet intuitive. I work in layers, building and eroding until the surface begins to breathe. I am less concerned with representation than with presence: with creating a space that feels alive, contemplative, and emotionally grounded.

Ultimately, my work is an act of quiet alchemy; a merging of material and spirit, movement and stillness. I hope it offers a moment of pause, a gentle recognition of beauty as vibration, a reminder that harmony is not an idea but a living experience.
